Mt. Olympus Fastpitch Softball League is a non-profit recreation softball league for girls in the age divisions 6U to 18U, K-12 grades. Our goal is to provide opportunities for athletic and character development and community engagement through the sport of softball. We are located on the East side of the Salt Lake Valley. Games are played at Union Park in Midvale.
We are a volunteer heavy league! As a parent you'll be asked to help the team/league in some way. Every team needs a head coach and 1-2 assistants. Every team needs a score keeper and a helper to chalk the fields! It's also nice to have a walk up song person, a snack organizer person, etc... You could also volunteer to help the Board of directors 🙂
Youth sports are fun and successful because of volunteers! We don't have kids do fundraisers but we do ask parents to help! Thank you in advance for helping things run smoothly.
We organize teams by schools/geographical area. Girls will play their age/grade division. Any girls who would like to play in a different division will need special permission from the Board of Directors.
Information:
Our Fall Season is 8 weeks, with 6 weeks of games. The Season will start with practices in Mid August, games Sept 6 - Oct 11.
- 6u, grades K-1 T ball will have 6 games! Cost $100
- 8u, grades 2-3 League Pitch, 7 regular season games, including 2 weeks of Double Headers, plus an end of season tournament. Cost $125
- 10u, 12u,14u, (4th grade and up )- will have 8 -10 regular season games w/ several double headers and end of season tournament. Most games will be held on Saturdays, with Tuesday night games possible a couple times a season. Cost $135
- 16u (high school) will have 8-10 regular season games w/ several double headers, and an end of season tournament. We will play mostly Tuesday Night games with a couple Saturdays possible. Cost $135
Practice times and places are determined but the coach.
Rain outs are made up on Friday Nights.
Registration fees include a Jersey uniform, team equipment, trained umpires, end of season awards, field use and more!
