Mt. Olympus Fastpitch Softball League is a non-profit recreation softball league for girls in the age divisions 6U to 18U, K-12 grades. Our goal is to provide opportunities for athletic and character development and community engagement through the sport of softball. We are located on the East side of the Salt Lake Valley. Games are played at Union Park in Midvale.
We are a volunteer heavy league! As a parent you'll be asked to help the team/league in some way. Every team needs a head coach and 1-2 assistants. Every team needs a score keeper and a helper to chalk the fields! It's also nice to have a walk up song person, a snack organizer person, etc... You could also volunteer to help the Board of directors 🙂
Youth sports are fun and successful because of volunteers! We don't have kids do fundraisers but we do ask parents to help! Thank you in advance for helping things run smoothly.
We organize teams by schools/geographical area. Girls will play their age/grade division. Any girls who would like to play in a different division will need special permission from the Board of Directors.
Mt. Olympus is a competitive recreational softball league. This is our third year serving girls on the east side of the Salt Lake Valley, from SLC - Sandy. Games are played at Union Park. Our Spring Season is Mid March - May. The season will start with practices in Mid March , games April - May
This year we are partnering with D bats to have in indoor batting and practice times, as well as some discounts for their programs!
Girls Kindergarten - 12 grade are welcome! - We have 4-6 age divisions, depending on the number of sign ups.
- 6u, K-1st grades (T-ball) - will have 8 games! Games Saturdays - we need enough girls to play t-ball! If we don't have enough we will combine with 8u. Cost $130
- 8u, 2nd & 3rd grades (League/Coach Pitch) - 8 regular season games, Double Headers possible, plus an end of season tournament. Most games held Saturday, with weeknight night games possible a couple times a season. Cost $130
- 10u, 4th & 5th Grades (Kid Pitch) - will have 8 -10 regular season games, double headers possible, and end of season tournament. Most games will be held on Saturdays, with weeknight games possible a couple times a season. Cost $140
- 12u/13u, 6th, 7th & *8th grades - will have 8 -10 regular season games, double headers possible, and end of season tournament. Most games will be held on Saturdays, with weeknight night games possible a couple times a season. Cost $140
- 14u/16u, *8th, 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grades - will have 8-10 regular season games with several double headers, and an end of season tournament. We will play mostly week night games with a couple Saturdays possible. Cost $140
*8th graders can choose to play with the Jr High Division(12u) or with High School Division(14/18u) or both.
Practice times and places are determined but the coach.
Rain outs are made up on Friday Nights.
Registration fees include a Jersey uniform, team equipment, trained umpires, end of season awards, field use and more!
